why is my viewer divided into two projects?
My viewer is divided into two half which are exactly the same thing and show the same project, how can I fix it?
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), macOS Sierra (10.12)

Did you enter the precision trim mode?
Maybe you have the Event Viewer open with a similar frame showing on both:
In the above each have clearly differing names although it looks similar.
Left side is a clip from the Browser shown in the Event Browser, right side the Project Timeline Viewer.
See if Hiding the Event Viewer helps.
Otherwise post a screen shot as suggested.
